Ready to toss a line this weekend?

Largemouth and smallmouth bass openers are upon us (or behind us for some zones within our region).

According to the Recreational Fishing Regulations of Ontario, 2017, the large and small mouth bass openers are as follows:

 

Zone 15 (Parry Sound, Gravenhurst, Minden, Haliburton, Bancroft, Deep River, Renfrew, Petawawa):

                  -Large and small mouth bass (or any combination) open this Saturday, June 24th,

Zone 17 (Port Perry, Lindsay, Bobcaygeon, Peterborough & Lakefield, Campbellford. Cobour, Port Hope):

                  -Large and small mouth bass (or any combination) opened last Saturday, June 17th
